Weekly Fluency
(Upper Intermediate and Above)
This program is all about building confidence in speaking through weekly lessons and is for students who are Upper Intermediate or Above.
The lessons will help you use speaking techniques in line with the culture of the English language to be able to maintain high quality conversations based on real-life situations. In each lesson you'll be taught a variety of idioms and slang expressions which are very common among native English speakers. We'll also touch on grammar every now and then when needed. That being done, we'll dive straight into conversation practice with Leila there every step of the way.
The first part of the session will involve the new lesson. Once everyone is clear, students will then be sent to breakout rooms to practise. Leila will be there to advise, correct and offer alternatives.
The last part of the lesson, students will all return to the main lesson room and we will devote it to correction and feedback.
This style of teaching is something Leila has extensive experience in and has seen outstanding results in many students.
Lessons will be taught on Zoom. You will be sent all the information via email once you have enrolled.
What you will learn
I started this course after years of tutoring students who felt overwhelmed, determined to build a simple, confidence-first path that actually sticks. Every lesson is carefully crafted and well organized into bite-sized steps: clear explanations, guided practice, quick check-ins, and realistic examples you can use right away. On the program, you’ll get structure without stress. At times reading articles will be shared with everyone as homework and later will be discussed in the lesson. This not only serves as reading practice, but helps in setting the foundation for our topic of the lesson. Different views and opinions will be shared, making it a perfect example for you to get yours in and take an active role in your learning journey. By the end of each lesson, you’ll know what you have learned, what to review, and exactly how to move forward—no guesswork.
