Welcome to Season 1 of my podcasts.
In this 10-week season, I will be discussing topics related to the British culture and way of life in the UK.
Every session, I will first read through a passage (text) from start to finish. This will usually be from current magazines, best-selling books or other resources that I think will benefit English learners. I will then begin discussing interesting points, adding my own thoughts and talking about my findings on the subject matter. Throughout, I will use plenty of native English phrases, idioms, phrasal verbs and at times, slang, to provide you with a rounded (complete) listening experience.
You will have the option of watching this in video format, or just listening to it as an audio file, while you're on-the-go.
For each episode, you will have access to the reading passage, new words and the transcript to my podcast.
Who Is This Course For?
This course is suitable for learners who are upper-intermediate or above and need to improve their listening skills while also learning useful and practical new sentences.
What Are the Prerequisites?
This course is in English and requires an upper-intermediate to advanced level.
You should already have a basic understanding of vocabulary and essential grammar.
And most importantly, a strong interest in understanding and using English correctly and confidently.

What’s Included in This Course?
This course consists of 10 complete lessons.
In each lesson, you will have access to a teaching video, the lesson text, and new vocabulary. You will also be able to download the audio version of the video lesson so that you can review the material in different situations by listening to it.
